I met an amazing group of girls while in Spain. absolutely beautiful and all so unique in so many different ways, after speaking to them we thought it would be really empowering to share a post to fit with our ‘every body is a summer body campaign’ 🤎✈️
It's time we start celebrating the diversity of bellies and skin tones. Every individual is unique and should be appreciated for who they are, regardless of their physical appearance. We all have hang ups but we should learn to love them🥰
Firstly, let's talk about bellies. Bellies come in all shapes and sizes, and each one is beautiful in its own way. Some people have a flat stomach, some rounder, and some have stretch marks or scars. But these differences do not make a belly any less beautiful. Every belly tells a story of the person who owns it and the journey they have been on. Some have carried another human! Whether you have a belly that is round or straight, big or small, it is a part of you and should be celebrated.🤎🎊
Now, let's talk about skin tones. Skin tones also come in a wide range of shades, and each one is equally beautiful. Some people have fair skin, while others have dark or olive-toned skin. Each skin tone has its unique beauty and should be celebrated. The color of your skin does not define your worth, and we should never judge someone based on their skin tone. We are all student midwives and see women at a stage in their lives where they most vulnerable. The stage in their lives which their bodies will change and become different from the norm they are used too. Post birth a lot of women may not recognise/ appreciate and love the new bodies that they now have.
