Tan blind what?
I know you might hear me use some really wierd terms at your tanning appointment.
Tan blind is what I like to call that feeling when you rinse and your like OMG where’s my tan gone. This is completely part of the process.
🤎The initial colour you see is Infact just the bronzer - I like to call this the tan guide, it’s a temporary colour guide that needs rinsing off (I will tell you at your appointment how many hours each solution needs most I have are 2,4 and 6 hours but obv if it’s a late night app you won’t stay up till 3am to rinse lol)
🕰️ The real work starts to happen by the DHA ingredient. DHA starts working 6-8 hours after spraying and continues to develop your tan upto 24 hours.
🪄 this is why even after that initial rinse of the bronzer it may look lighter but then deepen again (I call this your tan settling hence why I say 2 days prior to events)
Remember it’s not a spray paint - it is actually your skin that it’s sitting on so your prep work is key 🔐 trust the process. 👏🏻
The difference between ‘giving someone a spray tan’ and spray tan artists knowing how spray tans work & ingredients makes a lot of difference to why advice you will be given. I have heard some clients tell me there spray tan girl told them to just leave it as long as they can so it’s the darkest- this just isn’t true 🤦🏼♀️
