Choosing the right spray tan shade can be a personal preference, but there are a few factors to consider to help you find the best match for your skin tone and desired level of tan.

First, consider your natural skin tone. If you have fair skin, you may want to choose a lighter shade to avoid looking too dark or unnatural. If you have a medium or olive skin tone, you may be able to choose a darker shade without it looking too drastic. If you have a darker skin tone, you may want to choose a deeper shade to enhance your natural color.

Next, consider the occasion for which you are getting the spray tan. If you are getting a spray tan for a special event or photoshoot, you may want to go for a slightly darker shade to make your skin appear more vibrant and stand out in photos. If you are getting a spray tan for everyday wear, you may want to choose a lighter shade that looks more natural.

It is also essential to consider the undertones of the spray tan solution. Some spray tan solutions have cool undertones, while others have warm undertones. If you have cool-toned skin, you may want to choose a spray tan solution with cool undertones to complement your natural skin tone. If you have warm-toned skin, you may want to choose a spray tan solution with warm undertones to enhance your natural skin tone.

I will always assess your skin tone and help you choose the best shade for your individual needs and preferences.

Spray tan color wheels are used by spray tan technicians to determine the appropriate color to use on their clients. These wheels typically feature a range of colors that can be mixed to achieve the desired shade.

Here are some common colors found on spray tan color wheels and their corresponding undertones:

1. Light: This color is typically a pale, yellow-based tan that works well on fair skin tones.

2. Medium: This color is a warm, golden tan that works well on medium skin tones.

3. Dark: This color is a deep, bronzed tan that works well on darker skin tones.

4. Red: This color is often used to counteract green undertones in the skin.

5. Violet: This color is used to counteract yellow undertones in the skin.

6. Green: This color is used to counteract redness in the skin.

7. Blue: This color is used to counteract orange undertones in the skin.

I also mix different colors to achieve a customised shade for my clients. It's important for me to have a good understanding of color theory and how different colors interact with each other to achieve the desired result.
